Paola Cortellesi is an Italian actress, comedian, impersonator and screenwriter. She has become famous thanks to her work with the “Gialappa's Band” without leaving aside her acting for theatres. In fact, she was cast in several plays of the Italian director Furio Andreotti, and in a number of movies. Beside her noteworthy and successful career as comedian and actress, Paola Cortellesi, has distinguished herself for her famous monologues on sensitive issues, such as domestic violence and transphobia.
